Bilateral ties continue to warm between South Korea and Japan
South Korea marks Liberation Day today (Aug 15). Bilateral relations were strained for decades after Korea was freed from 35 years of Japanese colonial rule. But these days, warmer ties between the two have been marked by warmer ties and positive public sentiment.
