Budget 2021 debate: Ng Ling Ling on support for PWDs, women caregivers, seniors

Employers need to move away from stereotyping and be more inclusive towards persons with disabilities (PWDs) at the workplace, said MP Ng Ling Ling in Parliament on Thursday (Feb 25). She called for the creation of tailored career growth paths for PWDs and an improvement in incentives to encourage employers to be more inclusive. She also urged for more support for women caregivers in terms of their social, health and employment needs, and for seniors to help them age in place.
