Budget 2023 debate: Vikram Nair on support measures and sharing of benefits
Budget 2023 provides much-needed support and relief to individuals and businesses facing cost crunches and the “lingering tail” of disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic, said MP Vikram Nair in Parliament on Thursday (Feb 23). There are also measures to ensure that Singapore continues to grow and remain an attractive place to invest and do business. He suggested that enterprises which get significant Government grants or tax breaks be required to share the benefits and profits obtained with employees and the wider community.
