Budget 2025: More financial support to help workers upskill and businesses transform
Workers looking to upgrade their skills will be equipped to take on jobs of the future. Firms will also get help to transform and redesign company roles. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said this is part of a larger effort to keep Singapore competitive and Singaporean workers relevant at all stages of life. From early next year, workers 40 and above starting part-time studies can apply to get S$300 every month to defray the costs involved. Eligible firms will also get S$10,000 in fresh credit to defray out-of-pocket costs when workers attend training. Alif Amsyar reports.
