Budget 2025: More funding support for those taking care of senior citizens
Singapore Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lawrence Wong announced a slew of measures to help support for senior citizens and those taking care of them, in his Budget 2025 speech. There will be increased subsidies for residential long-term care services by up to 15 percentage points and the maximum qualifying per capita household income will be raised to S$4,800. Subsidies for long-term care services in the home and community will be raised by up to 10 percentage points. The Home Caregiving Grant will be enhanced as well.
