Businessman Paulus Tannos' extradition to Indonesia case adjourned to August
The extradition hearing for businessman Paulus Tannos will resume in August, after three days of proceedings. That is when he is also expected to take the stand. The Singapore court has to determine if there is sufficient evidence in the case and whether he can be extradited under statues or treaty. Tannos is wanted by the Indonesian authorities for his alleged involvement in an electronic ID card project that is said to have caused losses of over 2.3 trillion rupiah or about S$180 million.
