Campaigning is in full swing in Sabah, Malaysia. More than 1.7m voters head to the polls on Saturday

Campaigning in Malaysia’s state of Sabah, in the northern part of Borneo island, is in full swing. More than 1.7 million voters will head to the polls this Saturday to decide who will lead them for the next five years. Former Chief Minister, Shafie Apdal, hopes to capitalise on rising resentment toward the federal government, as he seeks to reclaim the state. Melissa Goh reports.
