Canada and India expel each other's top diplomats amid row over Sikh separatist's murder
Relations between India and Canada have plunged to a new low. Both countries have expelled their top diplomats, after Ottawa accused several Indian envoys of being involved in the murder of a Sikh separatist on Canadian soil last year. India has called the allegations "absurd". Hardeep Singh Nijjar was murdered near his home in Vancouver in June 2023. New Delhi had described him as a terrorist and accused him of sponsoring attacks in India. Ishan Garg reports from New Delhi.
