Chan Chun Sing on expanding ServiceSG Centres
The Public Service has put in place schemes and initiatives to bridge the digital divide by enabling digital access and accessibility, as well as upskilling citizens on digital skills and knowledge. It has expanded the number of ServiceSG Centres to better serve the community. Since 2021, seven centres have been set up. Two new centres will be established at Woodlands Civic Centre and Bukit Merah Town Centre by the end of 2024. Minister-in-charge of the Public Service Chan Chun Sing outlined these initiatives in reply to an MP’s question in Parliament on Thursday (Feb 29).
