Chan Chun Sing on possibility of extending home-based learning
An announcement on any extension of home-based learning for primary schools will be made later this week, in tandem with announcements on the latest national COVID-19 control measures. As for secondary schools and above, the considerations are quite different as the vast majority of older students have been vaccinated against the virus, said Education Minister Chan Chun Sing. He said MOE will do what is necessary to make sure the N-, O- and A-Level exams are conducted safely. Mr Chan was answering MPs’ questions in Parliament on Monday (Oct 4).
