Chan Chun Sing on resumption of co-curricular activities in schools

02:41 Min

With the recent tightening of COVID-19 restrictions after a surge in cases, in-person co-curricular activities for older students were once again suspended and will be resumed only when it is safe to do so. A more calibrated approach will be taken for younger students who are not yet vaccinated. On whether the process can be speeded up with regular COVID-19 testing for students and school staff, Education Minister Chan Chun Sing said testing - and opening up of CCAs - will be done "in line with the national posture". He was replying to NMP Shahira Abdullah in Parliament on Monday (Oct 4).
