Chee Hong Tat on managing COVID-19 for bus operators
Bus captains who were infected with COVID-19 account for less than five per cent of the total number of drivers of public bus operators, due to high vaccination rates and tight safe management measures. The Land Transport Authority and bus operators are watching the situation very closely to ensure that essential bus services continue to operate. About 90 bus services experienced longer waiting times of not more than three minutes. Senior Minister of State for Transport Chee Hong Tat gave this update in reply to an MP's questions in Parliament on Monday (Feb 28).
