Tenancy issues continue to exacerbate challenges faced by small- and medium-sized enterprises in the sector, said MP Edward Chia. He asked the Government about the challenges and feedback received by the committee, potential reviews of the code and the timeline towards legislation. He also asked the Government to outline its plans to ensure that Singapore maintains its position as a competitive business hub in the global economy.
