Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 6: Yeo Wan Ling on supporting caregivers of persons with disabilities
More needs to be done to support family caregivers who dedicate their lives to fulfil their caregiving responsibilities, said MP Yeo Wan Ling in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 9). She asked the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) to consider how it can better reach out to caregivers whose charges fall under the radar due to unreported or undiagnosed disabilities. She also urged MSF to assess informational gaps faced by caregivers.
