Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 7: Tin Pei Ling on community norms and harmony

Community norms play a critical role in maintaining order and harmony. However, norms can shift and when they do, the community must come to a common understanding on priorities and acceptable behaviours. Making the point in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 10), MP Tin Pei Ling asked how the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth will continue to enhance the Community Dispute Resolution Framework while partnering Singaporeans to co-create and establish community norms in their own neighbourhoods.
