Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 6: Denise Phua on making ComLink work
ComLink is a programme led by the Ministry of Social and Family Development, designed to provide coordinated support to families with children living in public rental housing. In Parliament on Friday (Mar 3), MP Denise Phua highlighted three factors critical to its success. First, clarity on the various help initiatives available; second, competent case managers assigned to each family to identify the key issues they face and come up with solutions; third, commitment to put in the necessary resources and ensure that agency partners go “beyond lip service” to do what needs to be done.
