Committee of Supply 2024 debate, Day 1: Mark Lee on RIE2025 and intellectual property

Singapore's Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) 2025 Plan reinforces its commitment to long-term investments in enterprise development, and establishes Singapore as a leading global hub for innovation and intellectual property (IP) development, said NMP Mark Lee in Parliament on Wednesday (Feb 28). He asked if the Finance Minister would consider broadening the definition of qualifying IP for corporate tax purposes and enhancing the IP development tax incentive to spearhead Singapore’s overall innovation drive.
