MP Louis Chua said the need for more widespread rental options to support the wider population remains. In Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 5), he said groups like S Pass holders will need a place to stay. Those who need to move out on their own for various reasons will also need affordable housing. He added there needs to be enough rental accommodation options to prevent crowding out local demand for HDB flats.
