Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 1: Saktiandi Supaat on building a global mindset in the public service

How is the public service working to ensure its officers gain international exposure, competencies and understanding of global trends? MP Saktiandi Supaat asked this question in parliament on Friday (Feb 28). He said the need for a globally aware and adaptable public sector has never been more critical in view of shifting geopolitical dynamics, rapid technological changes and existential challenges such as climate change and national security.
