Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 2: Alex Yam on Exercise SG Ready
As part of the SG60 commemorations, this year’s Exercise SG Ready invited Singaporeans to reflect on the crisis and disruptions they have overcome over the last six decades of independence and to brace themselves for potential future threats, said MP Alex Yam in parliament on Monday (Mar 3). He asked the Ministry of Defence for an update on this year’s exercise and he also wanted to know what other initiatives are underway to further strengthen Singapore's crisis preparedness so that the nation remains resilient and well-guarded against emerging threats.
