Singapore was an early investor in China’s rapid urbanisation and financial collaborations between both countries have also expanded over the years, said MP Henry Kwek in parliament on Monday (Mar 3). Noting China’s current shift towards high-tech innovation and sustainable growth, he said that Singapore's expertise in finance, governance and smart city solutions offers new synergies. He wanted to know the areas where Singapore and China share complementary advantages and can work together to benefit the region.
