Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 2: Joan Pereira on deepening Singaporeans’ understanding of foreign policy

Singaporeans are increasingly interested in foreign policy as global developments become more interconnected and with the ease of obtaining news and exchanging views online. MP Joan Pereira said this in parliament on Monday (Mar 3). She asked how the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is adapting its strategies to deepen Singaporeans’ understanding of the key tenets of Singapore’s foreign policy and how that policy contributes to the well-being of the nation and its citizens.
