Stressing the need for climate adaptation measures in parliament on Tuesday (Mar 4), MP Nadia Ahmad Samdin asked about the progress of coastal protection plans for sites including Long Island, the development of a Code of Practice for legislation and enforcement measures, and the adequacy of funding. She also asked about the upgrading of drainage infrastructure and if there were technology-enabled solutions to keep Singaporeans apprised of potential flooding in a timely manner.
