Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 4: Keith Chua on support for internationalisation efforts

Enterprise Singapore has a comprehensive set of schemes to help enterprises in their internationalisation efforts. Amid the uncertain global economic environment including emerging protectionism, what are the Ministry of Trade and Industry’s plans to ensure that the schemes remain relevant in supporting local enterprises with the potential and desire to internationalise and grow? NMP Keith Chua raised this question in parliament on Wednesday (Mar 5). He also wanted to know if local lenders will look favourably on funding internationalisation for local enterprises.
