Community shuttles to be rolled out in Punggol by the end of the year

Punggol will be the first HDB estate to receive public driverless shuttles by year-end. The autonomous vehicles will bring residents to locations such as the nearby MRT station. Acting Transport Minister Jeffrey Siow, after a visit to China to study AV technologies, said the move is aimed at supplementing bus services and addressing manpower shortages in the public transport sector.
