In Parliament on Tuesday (Nov 29), the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Amendment No. 3) Bill was carried with the votes of more than two-thirds of the total number of elected and non-constituency MPs. There were 85 ayes, two noes and two abstentions. The Penal Code (Amendment) Bill was passed with 93 ayes, three noes and zero abstentions.
