Early childhood educators to get at least 2 hours a week for non-teaching needs
Early childhood educators will get at least two hours of non-contact time a week to plan lessons and engage parents, from November next year. The Early Childhood Development Agency will require all licensed centres to provide the time to eligible full-time teachers to focus on non-teaching matters. It is part of broader efforts to improve
the working conditions of educators.
