01:07 Min

Under the Inclusive Business Programme (IBP), the Housing and Development Board directly allocates shop spaces to businesses which have at least 20 per cent of employees who are persons with disabilities. The Ministry of Social and Family Development will work with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and JTC to explore extending the IBP to industrial properties operated by JTC as part of efforts to raise the employment rate for persons with disabilities. Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Social and Family Development Eric Chua said this in reply to an MP's question in Parliament on Tuesday (Feb 14).
