Eric Chua on managing demand for Day Activity Centres

There are eight Day Activity Centres (DACs) that specialise in serving clients with autism spectrum disorder; 130 are on the wait list for placement in the centres and the average wait time for enrolment is nine months. The Ministry of Social and Family Development has announced that it is ramping up DAC capacity by 500 places. Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Social and Family Development Eric Chua said this in reply to a parliamentary questions on Wednesday (Feb 4).
