Eric Chua on uncontested deputyship applications
The courts can approve deputyship applications without a hearing if uncontested, said Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Social and Family Development Eric Chua. Replying to an MP’s question on Thursday (Mar 2), he gave the assurance that his ministry will continue to work with Government agencies and community groups to make sure that the awareness and take-up rate of these instruments are enhanced in future.
