Exercise Heartbeat: Over 80 Home Team, community responders join anti-terror drill at Clarke Quay
More than 80 Home Team and community responders took part in a drill in the heart of Singapore's nightlife district, Clarke Quay. This is the third Exercise Heartbeat to be held this year. Frontline staff are trained to respond to potential terror threats, including a simulated vehicle attack, gunfight and suspicious parcels. The last time the exercise was held at CQ @ Clarke Quay was in 2017. CapitaLand Investment, which manages CQ, said the venue was chosen because of its high footfall, which can make CQ an attractive target for attacks.
