A milestone for Singapore’s pilot container fish farm in Tampines on Saturday (Jun 15), with the sale of its very first estate-grown fish. North East District mayor Desmond Choo hopes this initiative can be scaled to other towns, as his goal is for Tampines to be a test bed for agriculture, where commercial players can try out new methods and innovate, before applying them islandwide.
