Gan Siow Huang on Strategic Partnership Co-Curricular Activity programme
The partnership between the Ministry of Education (MOE), Sport Singapore and National Arts Council to enable secondary school students from different schools to come together to pursue their interest in sports and arts beyond what is offered at their schools has been expanded to water polo. Called the Strategic Partnership Co-Curricular Activity programme, it is offered for athletics as well. Minister of State for Education Gan Siow Huang, who gave this update in reply to Parliamentary questions on Monday (Nov 7), said MOE will monitor the programme and consider extending it to other levels and areas in sports and the arts.
