Gan Siow Huang on support for caregivers
The Government will continue to review its multi-pronged efforts to ensure that caregivers are well supported. Feedback from the Conversations on Singapore Women's Development on caregiving will be considered in the upcoming White Paper on Singapore Women's Development, said Minister of State for Manpower Gan Siow Huang. Replying to Parliamentary questions on Wednesday (Jan 12), she also highlighted the support measures for those who have to juggle work and caregiving. As for those who are not working due to caregiving responsibilities, she urged them to make use of the various employment support schemes available when they are ready to join the workforce.
