Gan Siow Huang on support for primary school students in Internet-enabled devices

The Ministry of Education (MOE) has provided all primary schools with sufficient Internet-enabled devices to support learning in school, said Minister of State for Education Gan Siow Huang. Replying to an MP’s questions in Parliament on Friday (Apr 21), she said MOE also periodically reviews the level of provision to ensure that it meets the needs of teaching and learning. In cases where primary school students need to use devices after school hours but lack digital devices, schools can loan computers and devices. Students also have the option to use computing facilities in school.
