Global leaders to present joint approach to AI at end of AI Impact Summit

India has extended its AI Impact Summit by a day, after record crowds turned up to see the latest breakthroughs in the industry. Addressing delegates at the event in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for AI to be democratised, echoing the remarks of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Separately, the UN chief pushed for a new expert panel to improve human control of AI in response to a safety report that warns of its growing misuse. Ishan Garg reports from New Delhi.
