Goh Pei Ming on easing administrative and reporting framework burden for deputies

The Ministry of Social and Family Development has been working to reduce the burden for deputies appointed under the Mental Capacity Act, including online submission of reports. The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) also organises monthly workshops to guide deputies to fulfil the responsibilities and requirements for the annual reports. For deputies who require help with filing, OPG also provides personalised support. Minister of State for Social and Family Development Goh Pei Ming said this in reply to an MP’s question in parliament on Wednesday (Feb 4).
