Goh Pei Ming on ECDA’s Childminding Pilot for Infants
Besides the use of the Child Development Account (CDA) funds, the government provides subsidies to ensure that childminding services under the Early Childhood Development Agency’s Childminding Pilot for Infants are affordable. Of all the families enrolled, more than 80 per cent have used their infants’ CDA monies to defray the out-of-pocket expenses of childminding services under this pilot. Minister of State for Social and Family Development Goh Pei Ming gave this update in reply to an MP’s question in parliament on Thursday (Feb 26).
