Goh Pei Ming on take-up for ECDA’s childminding pilot
Since the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) launched its three-year childminding pilot last December, around 50 infants have been looked after in childminders' homes and at community premises. Parents have given positive feedback on the care and convenience, said Minister of State for Social and Family Development Goh Pei Ming. He added that about 160 families have shown interest in enrolling in the next six months and his ministry is working on raising public awareness of the scheme. He was answering an MP’s questions in parliament on Thursday (Sep 25).
