HDB launches four Prime BTO projects in October, with highest subsidy clawback of 14%
The Housing Board has launched more than 9,000 flats in October's Build-to-Order exercise, which includes a record number of Prime units in Bishan, Bukit Merah and Toa Payoh. Analysts said Prime project Berlayar Residences — the first public housing project within the Greater Southern Waterfront area — is the one to watch, despite it having a highest-ever subsidy clawback rate of 14%. October's exercise is also the first time parents and their children, regardless of marital status, can jointly apply for two units in the same BTO project under the Family Care Scheme. Alexandra Anand reports.
