Home Affairs Ministry building new joint operations centre to improve efficiency
Singapore is building a new joint Home Team Operations Centre by 2032 for agencies to better coordinate and respond more quickly to incidents. Agencies such as the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force currently operate their own centres and man their own hotlines. The Home Team is also exploring having Joint Maritime Bases for the Police Coast Guard, SCDF and the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority.
