Hospital teams to be streamlined to meet needs of ageing population

Elderly patients with multiple conditions will now be tended to by a team led by a principal doctor who will integrate care across disciplines. Health Minister Ong Ye Kung says this streamlining of hospital teams is a transformation to meet the rising needs of an ageing population.
