India extends Sheikh Hasina's visa despite extradition request from Bangladesh
According to Indian media, citing people familiar with the matter, India has reportedly extended the visa of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. This, despite Bangladesh's interim government sending a diplomatic note to New Delhi late last month requesting Ms Hasina's extradition. She has been living in exile since August last year, after nationwide student-led protests toppled her government. Ishan Garg reports from New Delhi.
