India rape-murder case: Top court sets up national task force to bolster security at workplaces

India's Supreme Court has ordered the setting up of a national task force of doctors, as calls for justice intensify nationwide over the rape and murder of a trainee doctor in Kolkata earlier this month. The top court wants the unit to come up with action plans on two key areas - the prevention of violence against medical professionals and a national protocol to ensure dignified and safe working conditions.
