Indranee Rajah on Civil List
In parliament on Friday (Mar 6), Second Minister for Finance Indranee Rajah moved a motion to adjust the Civil List, which provides for the maintenance of Singapore’s President and his office. It was last adjusted in 2022, but operating costs have risen, she said. No changes were proposed to the President’s salary and allowance, but to enable his office to continue to meet its spending needs. The motion was passed.
