Indranee Rajah on shielding Singaporeans from inflation rise
The Government has shielded and continues to shield Singaporean households from much of the price pressures stemming from the recent rise in inflation. It will continue to review and improve ways to support Singaporeans, particularly lower-income households, seniors and those with greater needs. Second Minister for Finance Indranee Rajah gave this assurance in reply to Parliamentary questions on Tuesday (Jan 11). She said as the Government prepares for Budget 2022, it will give priority to fiscal plans to help Singaporeans and review the scope of household support measures.
