Israel strikes Lebanon, killing at least 182 and injuring hundreds | Video

Israel pounded Lebanon with its heaviest strikes yet on Wednesday (Apr 8 ), killing at least 182 people and drawing a threat of retaliation from Iran, which suggested it would be "unreasonable" to proceed with talks to forge a permanent peace deal with the United States.

Israel and US both said the two-week ceasefire did not cover Lebanon — contradicting an earlier claim from Pakistan, a key intermediary in ceasefire talks, that Lebanon was included in the truce.
