In Parliament on Monday (Sep 12), MP Jamus Lim corrected a comment he had made during the sitting on Jul 5, in his adjournment motion speech on macroeconomic policy to combat inflation. He clarified that he had meant to say the Government should sell, not buy, long bonds to dampen speculative investment and keep a lid on asset prices.
