Janil Puthucheary on AI-related courses supported by SkillsFuture
There are around 1,600 AI-related courses supported by SkillsFuture Singapore, with 137,000 training places taken up by more than 105,000 individuals last year. Senior Minister of State for Education Janil Puthucheary, who gave this update in reply to an MP’s questions in parliament on Tuesday (Feb 3), said the government encourages all Singaporeans to pursue upskilling and lifelong learning to stay relevant, including keeping abreast of AI and other developments. It will continue to support them through substantial cost fee subsidies and SkillsFuture Credit, he added.
