Janil Puthucheary on polyclinic appointments for seniors
Seniors who need help to book polyclinic appointments digitally can get assistance at the polyclinics or at Active Ageing Centres, Community Health Posts and other locations. They can also contact the call centres or try to get walk-in appointments. Walk-ins with urgent needs, including elderly who are frail and have mobility issues, will be attended to. Patients who have chronic conditions managed at polyclinics generally have appointments booked ahead of time. Senior Minister of State for Health Janil Puthucheary said this in Parliament on Tuesday (Nov 12) in reply to an MP’s questions. He added that the number of seniors being seen at polyclinics rose from over 260,000 in July 2023 to over 300,000 a year later.
